Privacy Policy

The controller responsible for personal data on this platform is Tango Manager, registered in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus, contactable at contact@tangomanager.com. Organisers are separate controllers for the registration data they collect for their own events.

The platform processes and stores personal data. Based on the current product implementation, the categories are:

• Account and signup data — email address, password (stored only as a hash by the authentication service), display name, and whether you joined as a dancer or organiser.
• Profile details you choose to provide — such as phone, country, city, dance role, and social links.
• Consent records — your terms acceptance and marketing opt-in choices, each stored with the version you saw and the timestamp.
• Registration data — the answers and selections you submit when registering for an organiser's event, including package and workshop choices and payment status recorded by the organiser.
• Organiser workspace data — workspace names, event listings, and the content organisers publish.
• Listing analytics — anonymous view and click counts on public listings, the page path, and the visitor's country when the hosting layer supplies it. No IP addresses are stored and no analytics cookies are used.
• Messages — contact and promoter application forms you submit.

To run your account, connect dancers with organisers, operate registrations and organiser listings, and record your consent choices. Marketing email sending is currently disabled, so no marketing emails are sent today. If marketing email sending is enabled in the future, marketing emails will be sent only to users who have explicitly opted in; consent is never required to use the platform and can be withdrawn at any time in your account communication settings.

We process account data to provide the service you ask for, registration data to run the registrations you submit, and consent records (terms acceptance and marketing choices) only on the basis of the consent you gave at signup. We do not process personal data for purposes that fall outside the uses described in section 2.

Registration data is shared with the organiser of the event you register for, who acts as a separate controller for that data. The platform itself runs on hosted infrastructure (application hosting, database, and authentication services) provided under the platform's hosting arrangement.

The platform's data is stored on its hosted infrastructure, and cross-border transfer safeguards follow that hosting arrangement. You can ask for current hosting details at contact@tangomanager.com.

Account and consent records are kept while your account exists. Registration data is kept for as long as the registration and related event records remain useful, and account data is deleted when you close your account or ask us to delete it by contacting contact@tangomanager.com.

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise them, contact contact@tangomanager.com.

The platform stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in, and uses a small number of functional cookies for interface preferences (such as sidebar state). It does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Listing view/click counts are recorded server-side without analytics cookies, as described in section 2.

We will announce material changes on this page before they take effect and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly.
